I asked the judge how long i had to pay my ticket, he said "its already past dude". To which i replied " how so if thats what i was schedules for right now? ". That obviously upset him so he threatened to lock me up today if i didnt pay. So i asked " can I atleast do a payment plan, im also paying my school tuition at the moment. To which he replied loudly for the courtroom to hear "welp buddy, ill tell you this, you cant go to school if you're in jail". What a positive message from Selma Municipal court. All this for tickets pertaining to the company truck i was driving, none were issued moving violations at all.
From a resident of Selma, I have gone to Selma City Hall on many occasions and always find the staffs to be helpful and friendly. Selma is a great community, and in large part that comes from the quality of City Hall personnel.
If Selma would get out and control the traffic on the access road by pushing people through the light at the Forum there would be a lot fewer people stuck in traffic for the last 7 hours.
