We shopped on line first. We knew that best buy had what we thought we were going to buy in stock. We went to Best Buy to measure a washer and dyer that would fit. We got a great salesman that knew his products.
My husband and I went to Best Buy yesterday. Amazon was selling Amazon echo for something around $80 all day long but they sold out, so we wanted to get one at Best buy since they have a "price match guarantee" policy. We spent 20 minutes waiting for the manager to come out and tell us he wasn't going to match the price.
What they didn't know was that we spent $2,000 on a washer and dryer at their store maybe a month ago, and we were about to buy a $3,000 fridge this month. Now we'll do it at Lowe's. Thank you Best (not so much) buy! :-)
I needed to purchase a laptop. The area's representative was very busy with another customer, and a second associate appeared within minutes. This is what I liked about my visit to Best Buy: an associate who was courteous, very knowledgeable, descriptive in his responses, and so helpful and understanding in comparing one product with another so that I would leave with exactly the right product that would suit me.
So we decided to go to Lowe's today and buy echo for the regular price $180. We just didn't want to do business with Best buy anymore.
They always have a large variety of electronics, media of all types, as well as home appliances. They also have the equipment to install hook up those items. They've helpful and usually knowledgeable about the current products the have. Sometimes they can be a little bit pricey on some things.
So with being first time experience of store pickup at the best buy over in the Forum in Selma, TX. I saw one thing that just does help things move faster, so I went to this best buy after paying for it all and having to pick up in the store. I had the item in my hand and I still had to wait for them to pick it up from the inventory in the back after I was told that I had to wait until they picked it. Which again had the item I wanted in my hand still and had my confirmation and ID out ready after I was instructed to do so, but I still had to wait for it. So I waited for 45 to 55 minutes and still did not get my item I wanted. The store pick needs to be lookked at one more time before you introduced it to the world
We ended up buying a different brand because of the size. It happened to be the best brand and was on sale. It was a quick and easy experience.
